“As I work on more pieces I get new ideas, sometimes it starts with simple curiosities like “what if I add this texture to this” or “try this tone instead”. Then the next step is to figure out choosing the right materials to accomplish what I’m looking to do. It’s a very exciting yet challenging process that it’s never easy to succeed but I’d always want to see my work evolve. Creating very organic ink wash is an important element of my work. This time I wanted to create clean flat color parts lay right next to ink wash in a beautiful contrast. I added process of masking and chose spray paint to give a clean flat surface. As I always look for new ways of layering and this new technique add more depth to my work.”
